Community Race Event!!

Join us for the 58th Annual Mesa Turkey Trot - the original Turkey Trot Run event in Arizona that focuses on a family atmosphere! The 10K and 5K are professionally timed. A One Mile Fun Run is also offered as a warm-up and a chance for families to run together before the main events. The 10K and 5K are run on the roads around Red Mountain Park in East Mesa, AZ, finishing in the parking lot.

Race proceeds benefit the Mesa Sertoma Club

Please do not wait until the last minute to register.

No exceptions will be given when the race sells out.

Custom Event Finisher's Medal
Custom Event Tech T-Shirt for all participants.
Male and Female Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups (excluding Virtual Runners) in the 5K and 10K divisions for the following:
- 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 - 79, and 80 & Over
Pre- & Post-Race "Athlete's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, etc)
Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos provided by StartLine Racing on their Website

Race Day Information

Race Day Check In starts at 6:30am and will close promptly at 8am. Please plan accordingly.

We accept cash, and credit cards on race day.

Prices on race day and packet pickup will be:

10K/5K - $50
1 Mile - $40

Stroller and wheelchair friendly event. MUST start at the back of the pack.

Bicycles, wagons, scooters, etc. are not allowed on this course.

Leashed pet friendly event. MUST start at the back of the pack.

Due to the proximity of the start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event.

The course will take you around Red Mountain Park on paved roads finishing in the parking lot.

The 1 Mile Family Fun Run is untimed but all participants will still receive a shirt and a medal.

This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds or transfers due to weather.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THIS EVENT. If you are unable to attend this event please email info@startlineracing.com to switch to virtual or transfer your registration to a friend. DEADLINE IS TUESDAY 11/24 BY 5PM.

Parking Information

Parking for this event will be available at Red Mountain High School located directly across the street from Red Mountain Park. We strongly encourage carpooling to this event so that there is room for everyone to park.

Packet Pick-Up Opportunities

TEAMS AND LARGE FAMILIES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PICK UP THEIR

PACKETS PRIOR TO RACE DAY.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

There will be multiple Packet Pick-Up Opportunities for the 2026 Mesa Turkey Trot.

Wednesday, November 25th

Red Mountain Park Drive-Thru Packet Pick-Up from 8am-7pm (map)
- Packet Pick-up is located at Red Mountain Park in the North parking lot (corner of Sunvalley Blvd and Brown Rd.)
- PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE. If you park and walk up to the race volunteers you will be directed back to your car and back into the line. Not only is this dangerous but it is also not the purpose of a drive thru packet pickup.

Thursday, November 26th

Race Day packet pick-up will be available at Red Mountain Park (race location) beginning at 6:30am and will close 5 minutes prior to the start of each distance. There will be no exceptions to this so PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Late arrivals will not be allowed to check in.

Volunteer Opportunities

Become a Mesa Turkey Trot Volunteer

The Sertoma Club is seeking volunteers to help with the 2026 Mesa Turkey Trot. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas, which include manning water stations and distributing medals.

This is a great way to get involved with the community and cheer on runners from all over. Other benefits of volunteering include meeting new people, receiving volunteer credit hours, and being compensated with a commemorative shirt.

Volunteer opportunities are open for groups or individuals. All ages welcome (children under 16 must volunteer with a parent). Shifts start as early as 6:30am on race day.
